A journey in the name of biodiversity. Beaches, marshes, pine forests, sea, a contrast of colors and scents that fill the senses and suspend the soul. A mountain ridge (the mountains of Uccellina along whose rock walls we will find many caves that preserve artifacts that attest to ancient human presence), a marshy area, a stretch of dunes and coastal area of over 25 km of unspoiled beauty!

The undisputed and unchallenged protagonist of this trip is the still wild nature made of thick forests of cork oaks, a dense Mediterranean scrub, marshes at the mouth of the river and the famous dunes of Uccellina rich in endemic species where the flora expresses itself with unique performances in every season. The fauna is another unique feature of this area: Waterfowl such as the duck, the shelduck and the wild goose (this is one of the main wintering areas of these migratory birds), rare birds of prey such as the lanner falcon, tortoises, reptiles, foxes, porcupines, deer and roe deer can be found curiously wandering around the beaches, especially in spring and autumn. Walking through the plain we can meet the famous maremmani horses and cows with their long horns to half-moon or lyre (depending on the sex female or male). Such land rich in enchantment has given rise to numerous legends that man has always created so that even the thought can welcome this wonder. We will listen to legends of caves and castles, legends of sea and woods, of sun and moon that will accompany us in the magical night of these places.
